All GP Prepaid (Nishchinto , djuice, Bondhu, Smile, Business Solutions (1,2,3,5 & Sofol), Ekota (1,2,3,4), GPPP, VP) customers can enjoy dynamic emergency balance from minimum 13 Tk to maximum 200 Tk and it is completely service charge free.
If customer's main account balance is less than 30 Tk, he/she can avail Emergency Balance; if account balance is less than 18 Tk can avail Emergency Minute Loan and if account balance is less than 5 Tk, he/she can avail Emergency Internet.
To avail Emergency Balance, customers need to dial *121*1*3# or *9# (Free of service Charge)
Customers can use this Emergency Balance amount for any voice calls and for any SMS (including SMS to ports)
No Incoming SMS, Monthly Subscription fee and data usage will be charged from the Emergency Balance
Purchased minutes, free/bonus minutes, bonus amount and main account balance will be used first and then Emergency Balance call rate will be applied.
Dynamic Emergency amount will get refreshed monthly based on customer usage behavior.
Emergency Balance is not applicable for any type of roaming usage
Used Emergency Balance will be deducted from next recharge (the amount equal or more to the used Emergency Balance) by the customer. In case of partial recharge (lower than the usage of Emergency Balance), the remaining amount will be deducted from next recharge.
From 15th November 2023, Emergency Balance due will be adjusted from recharge offer also, applicable for all channels (retail/digital/MFS etc.) and all type of recharge offer (voice/combo/data/SMS/Service Bundling etc.). In that case, recharge-offer will not be activated. After due adjustment, rest amount will be added in account balance (if any).
The emergency balance amount can be used at any time.
Customer can only avail further emergency balance after paying the full due amount
Customers can avail Emergency Balance and Emergency Internet together, but if they have used emergency balance earlier, they can take Emergency Minute Loan only after paying the full due amount.

If customer avails Emergency Balance, then local voice call tariff will be 2 Tk/min (10 sec pulse)
If validity (recharge validity) got expired, then Emergency Balance service will be temporarily unusable.
All other tariff, services and Pulse will remain unchanged
20% Supplementary Duty (SD) + 15 % VAT inclusive of SD will be applicable for all charges + 1% surcharge on base tariff
