Empowering Youth: Futurenation's Training on Communication and Digital Marketing Skills for Bondhushava Members

Youth empowerment lies at the heart of Futurenation's mission to bridge skills gaps and create economic opportunities. In collaboration with Bondhushava, a vibrant youth platform initiated by Prothom Alo readers, Futurenation successfully conducted a transformative training program aimed at equipping young individuals with communication and digital marketing skills.

The Vision Behind the Initiative

The program addressed essential skill gaps in English communication and digital marketing, two areas vital for success in today’s dynamic job market. By nurturing these abilities, Futurenation enabled a generation of empowered, job-ready youth to confidently seize opportunities in an increasingly digital world.

Program Highlights

The initiative began with a ceremonial event at Prothom Alo’s premises in Dhaka. The event brought together 100 participants, including Bondhushava members and key stakeholders from Grameenphone and UNDP. This event set the stage for a robust training program that will engage Bondhushava members from all over Bangladesh.

    • Business and Social English (developed with the British Council)
    • Verbal and non-verbal communication
    • Interpersonal communication and teamwork
  2. Digital Marketing Skills:
    • Social media marketing
    • Content creation and management
    • SEO and analytics

The event was both informative and inspiring, featuring valuable insights about career development and communication skills from prominent figures, such as Anisul Hoque - Executive Editor at Prothom Alo, Sharfuddin Ahmed Chowdhury – Head of Communications at Grameenphone, Zafar Sadiq – President at Bondhushava National Committee, Debashis Roy - Private Sector Partnership Specialist at UNDP Bangladesh and Md. Abdul Quayyum - Head of Communications at UNDP Bangladesh; The day concluded with provided training and networking, offering an excellent opportunity for participants to connect and exchange ideas.
