Spearheaded by Grameenphone in collaboration with Plan International, a baseline survey on vulnerable communities shines a spotlight on digital behavior, emerging digital divides and their impact on societal inequalities.</div><div>Covering 17 districts, the survey explores the digital needs of diverse, marginalized communities, ranging from ethnic and religious minorities to tea garden workers and climate-affected populations. With both quantitative and qualitative insights gathered from 4,800 respondents, Focus Group Discussions, and Key Informant Interviews, this survey is pivotal in addressing digital inclusion gaps within the country. Inclusive Digital Future: Baseline survey on vulnerable communities

We had the privilege of visiting our project site in Narayanganj, where we met 27 incredible people from transgender community. This community faces many challenges, including lack of social acceptance, yet they exhibit remarkable intelligence, social empathy, and a heightened consciousness that often surpasses those of many people we meet daily. Because of the rain, we&nbsp;had to take the sessions in their homes, and although the houses were dilapidated, the people we met were truly amazing.It’s truly inspiring to see them learning about online safety through Digital Inclusion project. Youth for change, the NGO on the ground and their dedicated team is tackling difficult conversations with care and making significant strides in ensuring digital safety for all. We are immensely proud to be leading this project, witnessing firsthand the real impact it has on these communities. Together, we are creating a safer, more inclusive digital world.

The program envisions enabling Economic Opportunities for All in Bangladesh by 2041. Future Nation takes the mission to create conducive environment to utilize this generation for economic value creation through enablement of the youth with the right skills and economic opportunities.The collaboration has been established when UNDP identified that the private sector is not only a critical player in development but also in responding to a crisis, in post-crisis recovery, and in preparedness for recurrence. UNDP introduced Post Covid19 he private sector platform which acted as a multi-sector, multi-stakeholder frontier to serve as a mechanism and conduit for the business community to be engaged in the nCOVID-19 response faster and at scale, while planning ahead for recovery through innovation and suggested reforms.</div>
