The Grameenphone President Cup Golf Tournament 2007 began today (April 4) at the Kurmitola Golf Club (KGC).

Major General Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Principle Staff Officer, Armed Forces Division, and Arif Al Islam, Chief Financial Officer of Grameenphone, jointly inaugurated the tournament.

Local and expatriate members of the club and other golfers are taking part in this tournament.

Grameenphone has been sponsoring this prestigious tournament for the last six years. It may be mentioned that Grameenphone has been supporting many sports events in the country over the past several years.
